The Puppeteers

Vicki Riske is a puppeteer and children’s book author living in Mesa. She has written and illustrated four books, The Polka Dot Tea Party, My Teeth Are Too Big, Fishy Tales, and Los pececitos aventureros, the Spanish translation of Fishy Tales, translated by Sonia Elizabeth Urrutia de Soto.

Vicki also wrote Grandma Bibi, and collaborated with local Phoenix artist Laura Best, who provided illustrations for the book. Vicki enjoys story times and making puppets with children. She loves reading her stories and other books as well. Her story times are interactive, she brings puppets and encourages audience participation and having fun.
