KB Farm & Pantry 1/2 Beef Share Grass Finished
Before purchasing our amazing beef, we’d love to share with you why KB beef is different from most! KB is 100% grass fed and finished beef operation. Their cows are fed the best quality hay on the market. They have sourced hay from a Southern Utah farmer that believes in the same farming practices as they do. He grows a Non-GMO seed, he doesn’t spray his hay fields with any pesticides or chemicals, and he steam bales the hay. Those 3 things are super important to us and the quality of beef that KB produces.
KB believes that feeding this specific hay with added supplements of vitamins and minerals that are necessary for their health, the results are a nutritionally balanced, sustainable feed that creates a marbled meat that you will love.
Beef shares are a way for you to purchase home grown beef in bulk. Buying this way can help your family save money and worry less about shopping for meat in the future.

Additional Info
Hanging weight refers to the weight of the cow with hide and insides removed. Hanging Weight = 60% of the Live Weight. So, using the same cow at a live weight of 1200 pounds ... 1200 x 60% = 720 pound hanging weight.
For bone-in beef, expect 65-70% of the hanging weight back as meat which is roughly 468-504lbs. For boneless beef, expect 55-60% of the hanging weight back as meat which is 396-432lbs.
