If not picked up your order will be cancelled. We do not offer refunds for live animals that are not picked up on time. We do not allow returns on live animals.
If this breed has no available pick-up dates please request a special order. Special orders require a 5 chick min. of any one breed. Once we receive your request we will check availability and let you know when to expect your chicks. If the availability dates do not work for you we will refund your order.
Years ago, a small amazingly productive chicken breed was imported from Italy through the port of Livorno. "Leghorn" became the Anglicized word for that port and the breed. Supermarket eggs are almost always laid by White Leghorns or hybrids developed from them. Hens lay about 325 eggs every year while eating less feed than most other breeds.
