Plymouth Barred Rock

Plymouth Rocks are beautiful, productive and easy to care for. They are best known for an abundance of large eggs and tasty meat.

Barred Rocks are one of the oldest American breeds. The Plymouth Barred Rock was commonly used as a meat source until WW2 when more commercial production breeds were developed. 

Barred Rock chickens will weigh between 7-10 pounds at maturity and can be processed at 16-20 weeks
