Modesto Milling’s 18% protein Whole Grain Layer is made for chicken keepers who prefer to feed grains closer to how they come from the field. This blend features about 50% whole grains (including wheat, peas, red milo, barley, oats, and black oil sunflower seeds) for a hearty, traditional texture your hens love.

To balance the mix, the loose grains are blended with alfalfa and flaxseed into a natural green pellet—adding eye appeal, encouraging consistent eating, and helping reduce feed waste.
