How to Brew the Perfect Cup

1. Heat the Water

Bring water to just below boiling, ideally between 195°F–205°F (90°C–96°C).

2. Grind Your Beans

Use freshly ground coffee beans.

• Finer grind = stronger brew
• Coarser grind = milder brew

Recommended ratio: 1:15 to 1:17 coffee-to-water ratio.

3. Prep the Filter

Place the filter on your Mason jar or mug. Optionally rinse with hot water to preheat and remove any residual oils.

4. Add Coffee Grounds

For a 16 oz jar, use about 1 ounce or 5 tablespoons of ground coffee.

5. Let It Bloom

Pour a small amount of hot water over the grounds and let sit for 30 seconds.

6. Pour Slowly
