I'm new to chickens — where do I start?
Start with a coop or brooder (depending on chick age), a feeder and waterer, bedding, and corn & soy-free starter feed. Stop by the shop and we'll walk you through it!
What size coop do I need?
General rule is 4 square feet per chicken inside the coop and 10 square feet per chicken in the run. We can help you figure out the right setup.
What bedding do you recommend?
We recommend pine shavings or hemp bedding. Both work great with the deep litter method.
Do you carry medications for chickens?
Yes — electrolytes, dewormers, vitamins, wound care, poultry dust for mites and lice, and more.
Are your chicken care products organic?
Chicken care products vary by brand and are not all organic. Our feed is certified organic and corn & soy-free — check our Feed section for that.
Do you offer coop setup or advice?
We don't install coops, but our team is happy to help you pick the right one and answer any setup questions in-store.
