Steelhead is the only fish we carry that isn’t wild-caught—and we’re very intentional about that.

Steelhead can’t be legally harvested from the wild, which means when you see steelhead in the seafood case, it’s always responsibly raised. Ours comes from the Columbia River system, where it’s raised in moving, oxygen-rich water—not a typical contained pond (the kind that raises concerns about waste and runoff).

The result: a clean, mild flavor, tender flaky texture, and a fish that cooks beautifully whether you bake it, pan-sear it, or grill it. If you want a salmon-style meal you can feel confident about, steelhead is it.
